The underfunding of Medicaid in Wisconsin constitutes an enormous hidden tax on employers and individuals. We the undersigned strongly urge Wisconsin state legislators to approve the proposed hospital assessment as a way to capture additional federal dollars for Medicaid and ease the cost-shifting that now drives up the cost of health insurance.
